InStitchu were privileged to partner with the McGrath Foundation and be part of last week’s Annual Jane McGrath High Tea, an iconic part of the cricket calendar and a highlight of the Boxing Day Pink Test at the SCG.
As part of the event we crafted silk bandanas to a custom McGrath Foundation pink-themed design, gifted in place settings to each of the 500+ guests at the High Tea, accompanied by tips on different ways to style the garment.
For the day’s events Glenn McGrath (below left) wore a muted pink single-breasted made-to-measure InStitchu blazer crafted from a premium northern Italian milled Merino wool. In his hosting duties of the annual Jane McGrath High Tea, Channel 7 personality (and mate of the brand) James Tobin (below far right) wore a bold pink single-breasted suit crafted from a beautiful Stylbiella-milled fabric.
Ryan Barlow (above middle), Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer at the McGrath Foundation, also wore a custom InStitchu ensemble, designing an elegant number crafted from a pink Marzoni-milled Merino wool with pale blue check.
“It was our honour to be part of the event and support this amazing cause,” says InStitchu Co-Founder Robin McGowan. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with an iconic non-profit doing amazing work. Seeing our custom silk bandanas all across the room, and seeing Glenn and James in such bold pink custom InStitchu garments for such an important day, was a heartwarming and humbling experience.”
InStitchu also donated a custom, tailored suit to the Foundation as part of the silent auction.
